Akshaya & Anish - A Wedding Prophesied.

Two blogs in 1 week? Say whaaaat!

We are back in Chennai for this one. At an old hunting ground for us wedding photographers, the new woodlands hotel. I must have belonged to the woodlands family in the previous birth because nothing else explains why I shoot 4-5 weddings there every year. No complaints though, I’d take woodlands over most of the mandapams in the city.

Enough of my well researched, no offense intended evaluation of the state of wedding venues in Chennai. Let’s move on to a wedding which was prophesied.

The above image is of Akshaya, the bride, as a toddler sitting quite comfortably and merrily on a Jeep that coincidentally had the name of her eventual groom written on it. Her mum stumbled upon this image while she was searching through old photos to be displayed at the wedding. Wholesome much?

Akshaya & Anish were beautiful clients to work with from the very beginning. Open and honest in their communication and expectations. There were so many similarities between us outside of the wedding as well - They both wanted to get married at the Indeco Resort in Swamimalai and so did Mira and me. The similarity is that both of us failed handsomely in doing that.
