Ashwin & Chandhya - An intimate home wedding in Lockdown.

Lately, I feel every wedding I shoot is just a collection of mini-stories. Like one of those children's books that has 12 different tales with each evoking a different emotion inside you. It's wonderful to read the tales separately, but you feel wholesome when you finish the book.
This was one such wedding filled with tiny tales where ever your eyes went.
40°C Chennai heat, a light shower before the events making it sultry with humidity, a diet of banana pieces in milk through the day resulted in two tired souls.
"Wedding Blogs & Portals" wanted BTS of the home wedding during the lockdown, wanted me to make tik-tok videos of the bride swirling, groom dancing and what not to feature it as an exclusive on their page. Pandemic or not, Marketing and marriages never stop I guess.
Hindsight is 20/20 but I was very wary of shooting my first wedding during the pandemic. 8 months on, this is my new normal and looks like it is here to stay.
